2017 YEAR IN REVIEW

Firstly, Happy Christmas to you all! Another year is coming to a close which doesn’t seem possible. 2017 has been a busy and exciting year for Alan Butcher Components, with the company continuing to grow and develop. Following is a summary of our 2017 year in review: 2017 The Year in ReviewIn April, we were awarded the Everel agency for the UK and this has already proved to be an amazing opportunity; we look forward to expanding this business over the next 12 months and years to come. 2017 The Year in ReviewOur Reed Switch and Sensors manufacturer, PIC GmbH, exhibited at the Sensors and Instrumentation Exhibition for the first time in September. This was a very successful event and introduced us to a number of new clients and design projects. 2017 The Year in ReviewWe are now fully established in Unit 2, our additional warehouse, giving us significantly more space to hold stock. 2017 The Year in ReviewWe’ve increased our product range and expanded our customer list. 2017 The Year in ReviewThe website blogs have been a great way of getting information to our customers and wider market. These will continue throughout next year and new topic ideas are always very welcome! 2017 The Year in ReviewThis week we have successfully completed the transition to the new ISO standard - ISO 9001v2015! We are waiting for a copy of the new certificate and as soon as it is available, we will add this to our website. Our world of switches, sockets, buzzers and speakers has its challenges, as do all markets. Who knows what 2018 will bring? As always, we need to be ready to adapt to the changes without losing site of our core values. We’d like to remind you that we close for Christmas at 12.00 on Friday 22nd December and re-open on Tuesday, 2nd January, ready to embrace the New Year!
