Alan Butcher Components 2024
2024 has been another eventful year. Business has been a bit of a roller coaster over recent times but we have been encouraged by the growth and opportunities we’ve gained over the past 12 months. Alan Butcher Components 2024 has been a good year!
In November, we had the pleasure of visiting our sensors supplier, PIC GmbH, at Electronica 2024. Their stand offered visitors an exciting opportunity to use a highly visual, interactive board showcasing PIC’s core product areas. Customers could select a product and view on screen where it’s used and how it is put together. This technology provided an effective way of communicating the benefits and versatility of the PIC float switches and magnetic sensors.
We also attended Everel’s sales conference in Valeggio, Italy. The purpose of this was to review Everel’s product range of switches, signal lamps, motors, selectors and encoders. We had the chance to learn about new products and developments within the company. Workshops provided technical support plus useful and insightful discussions with Everel’s sales representatives from across the world.
This month we’ve had our annual ISO inspection and we are delighted to have met all requirements. Maintaining a well-structured quality system is essential and the ISO certification formalises this. Clearly our procedures are working effectively and we’d like to thank our team for implementing them consistently and to a high standard.
Documenting customer feedback is part of ISO and one thing that gets mentioned regularly by our customers is the value of having someone to speak to at the end of the phone. We do not underestimate the importance of this! We are fortunate to have a fabulous team on hand to assist our customers and our colleagues are frequently complimented on their excellent service.
As a reminder, the Chinese New Year shutdown period is fast approaching. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to review your requirements for the first quarter of 2025. This will help manage the extended lead-times.
So, as we come to the end of another year, we’d like to thank our suppliers and customers for their support and business. We wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year and we look forward to working with you all in 2025!
Best wishes,
Paul Butcher and Julie Sharpe
