Information and data are relayed to a central server by an onboard GSM/ GPRS module and SIM card. The unit gathers the engine data from the vehicles CANbus – a simple two wire method of containing all the vehicles information. It takes the vehicle ID, speed, rpm, percentage of fuel remaining and logs all activity, reporting back if the vehicle has been abused, or speed limits broken.
