Within slitting operations the felt can be used as cushions for product protection as well as blade cleaning pads and clutch devices. For steel wiping within the Automotive sector where �ZERO� blemishes are required for the product to pass stringent quality procedures prior to painting we offer our new line of materials. PES1800 at 8mm & 10mm thick. This is a grey medium/firm polyester felt which offers extremely economical top and bottom pad wiping for fast moving production lines. PES2500 at 10mm thick. This is a high grade extremely clean white polyester firm fabric used on surfaces where micro precision finishes are required on both medium and fast production runs. Traditional felt products are also still produced and used but due to economical constraints most mills have converted their requirements to synthetic products.
