About Us
Briton EMS was originally formed in 1979 by its two owners – Tony Abri, chairman and commercial director, and Bill Burton the managing director.
We have evolved from a small number of employees in 1979 to more than 100 today – and, following our acquisition in 2013 by the US electronics manufacturing provider OSI Electronics, we have gone on to become a global electronics manufacturer, for in addition to our UK sites, we also have direct access to manufacturing plants in Indonesia, Malaysia as well as the USA.
Common customer applications are RF systems, high speed data, transport infrastructure, sensors, instrumentation and security.
Our customers are predominantly in the broadcast, industrial, security, counter terror, instrumentation, medical, agricultural, telecoms and infrastructure sectors.
Electronics' is only just a part of what we do. Our focus is very much on providing a CEM assembly / complete manufacturing service, which includes mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and electronics box build.
