Each mother plant is being studied carefully for their growth rate, branching pattern, fruiting pattern, seed yield, oil yield and nutrients requirement. Well-characterized mother plant is crucial for profitable development of biofuel feedstocks. These characterizations will be use as a benchmark for yield predictability.
