Fibre Channel RAID Server Storage

This method creates a way of "Block-level" storage for servers. The servers can see the storage via two ways one is point to point using a Fibre Channel controller in the server connected directly to the storage the other way is using a Fibre Channel switch and map the storage using worldwide names. From a hosts perspective the storage is seen as if physically attached locally. Using a Fibre Channel RAID you can also remotely boot from the storage so in effect your servers have no storage.
