One of GBE’s strengths is in specialist high-specification products. Our experience ranges across several sectors - including data communications, medical and healthcare, precision industrial power supplies and bespoke control and timing devices.

These products often require special attention, such as precise calibration, customised firmware and complex construction. The technical expertise at GBE enables us to provide low to medium volume manufacturing services for specialist products. We find that our innovative approach to manufacturing means we can really add value to your product range and are capable of offering these services across a broad range of sectors.

At the forefront of this business area is GBE’s partnership with Auriga Systems (www.auriga.co.uk). This has included manufacturing, servicing and design support for their entire range of Auriga’s core mobile data terminals since the early 1990s. The most recent being the CT4000: a CE.Net, xScale, PMR enabled in car computer. Along with manufacturing and programming 12000+ units, GBE were also responsible for optimising the hardware design, programming and testing the low level electronic boot code and CE.Net operating system. This has also included onsite end-customer support and back-to-base servicing and repairs.
