Initial RFID Training for HARTING Eastern Europe

24-07-2014

Six employees from Auto-ID system integrators in Eastern Europe successfully completed their HARTING RFID training. From 25 – 27 March 2014, six employees from Auto-ID system integrators in Romania, Croatia and Bulgaria successfully completed their HARTING RFID training. The training focussed on understanding what possibilities HARTING offers for UHF RFID system integrators. HARTING's Ha-VIS Middleware was one of the main subjects. This versatile product is the software interface for system integrators: it is based on EPCglobal standards and 100% made by HARTING. The software enables you – without any special programming – to specify the RFID events that require responses. These can be configured easily and reliably to accommodate only those events which are of interest to the system integrator for specific projects. So system integrators can now concentrate on their actual job – finding complete solutions for their customers' projects. Of course, the training also covered the capabilities of the Ha-VIS Application Suite in maintenance applications, the powerful HARTING RFID Reader series as well as the versatile transponder. Participants took advantage of numerous practical exercises to learn for themselves how reliable and robust HARTING products really are. All the relevant products – including the autoclavable transponder with IP69K protection or the UHF RFID Reader – were available for hands-on usage. After the three days of training, all participants agreed that this had been a worthy investment! Since the training program was kept open and flexible, the actual topics could be adapted to answer the specific questions and interests of the participants. HARTING is looking forward to implementing successful customer projects in cooperation with reliable, well-trained partners.
