Hybrid Laser Tech has been manufacturing and supplying precision laser cut ceramic substrates to the micro-electronics industry for over 20 years.

During this time we have pioneered a robust and repeatable process for cutting a range of ceramic substrates that allows us to deliver one of the best cut qualities currently available in the industry.

In 2005, Hybrid Laser Tech was acquired by award-winning manufacturing company, Shearline. Located in Cambridgeshire, UK (an internationally recognised centre of innovation), Shearline has been trading for over 30 years and is one of the UK’s most successful engineering companies.

The acquisition was a positive step forward as it allows both companies to extend and enhance the range of services we offer to all of our clients.

In September 2007, His Royal Highness, The Duke of York, gave Hybrid Laser Tech his seal of approval as he officially opened our new home, a £1 million, 10,000 sq ft custom built facility.

Linked to Shearline’s 57,000 sq ft showcase factory, and becoming home to the latest CO2 laser systems used to cut and scribe ceramic substrates, plastics and acrylics, the new building has enabled Hybrid Laser Tech to become an integral part of the complete manufacturing service that is provided to our customers
