Originally starting out in 1974 as Thanet Electronics, Icom (UK) Ltd began as a retailer and trade distributor to the Amateur radio market.

The company has become one of the leading distributors of radio communications products and has built a reputation for delivering the marine, aviation, amateur and business markets with high quality products and excellent service.

Situated in Herne Bay, Icom (UK) Ltd, now employs 39 staff. It has an established dealer network, with over 1,000 accounts both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
