Surface Acoustic Wave Resonators

Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonators offer high fundamental frequencies which are ideal for use in applications such as low power radio, keyless entry etc. Using quartz, lithium niobate or lithium tantalate SAW resonators are offered in single-port or two-port devices. Although exhibiting lower Q than crystal resonators the high fundamental frequencies and compact size make them the perfect choice for many designers. Frequency range is from 70MHz to 1GHz in both SMD and leaded packages. SMD devices being available as small as 3x3mm. Custom devices are available.
