21/08/2014 METCASE 19” Front Panel Handles Now Available As Accessories Customer demand prompted METCASE to make 19” front panel handles available as an accessory OKW’s metal enclosures division METCASE has added extruded handles to its range of accessories for custom 19” front panels, rack cases and chassis. They make it easier to fit the front panels or chassis into cabinets or remove them during installation and maintenance – speeding up servicing. METCASE first showcased the handles on its COMBIMET rack mount enclosures range which was launched last year and recently extended with 4U and 6U standard sizes. COMBIMET has fast become METCASE’s most popular range of rack mount enclosures. And the handles proved so popular in the own right that customers kept asking if they were available for retro-fitting to other 19” enclosures. The handles are available as standard in five sizes: 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U and 6U. Other U sizes can be supplied on demand. Two standard colours are offered: Light Grey (RAL 7035) and Black (RAL 9005). Custom colours are also available. Each kit contains two handles plus four M4 x 16 mm screws, lock washers and nuts. Prices start at £8. Other accessories for METCASE enclosures include carry handle bars, front panels, case feet (with or without tilt) and PCB mounting pillars. METCASE also offers a wide range of custom options for its rack cases and other electronic enclosures including special sizes; internal mounting plates and brackets; CNC milling, drilling and punching; painting and anodising plus silk-screen or tampo printing of legends and logos.
