Wireless NEXEDGE Image Repeater System

Recently Kenwood announced the launch of the first Kenwood and JVC joint development project – the KVT-11 Image Encoder and KAS-11 Image Viewer for the remote acquisition of still images from surveillance cameras using the NEXEDGE Digital two-way radio system and JVC cameras. This innovative image viewer requests the still image from the Monitor Station via a NEXEDGE digital radio system. The KVT-11 captures an image from the CCTV camera with NTSC/PAL video input, compresses the original image into an small still image and send it to the base station via NEXEDGE radio system. The KAS-11 Image Viewer software decompresses the image and displays the caputured still image on the PC screen.
