SEM manufacture three ranges of brushless ac servo motor to meet the needs of the different market sectors. Typical applications include: Machine Tools, Robotics, Automation, Transfer Lines and similar applications.

Features include:

* Sinusoidal motor back e.m.f. waveform
* Integral resolver fitted as standard

* Speeds up to 10,000 rpm
* Thermal sensor mounted in motor winding
* Class F insulation
* IP65 enclosure protection
IP64 at shaft with seal fitted
* Double shielded, single row, radial ball bearings
which, under normal conditions, are maintenance free
* A range of design options such as:
- Holding brake (spring applied or permanent magnet)
- Incremental or absolute encoder
- Keyed or non-keyed shafts
- Plug, flying-lead or terminal connections
