PCB Curtain Coater
Before the panels come into the Resist Area they must be scrubbed. This is done by a machine which cleans both sides of the panel with fine brushes. The panels are then passed through the Curtain Coater, which as its name suggests has a 'curtain' of ink through which the panels pass. The panels then go through the IR (Infra Red) Oven until they are part cured. At this stage, the solder resist artwork created by our Front End department is used. The boards are exposed again, which creates the image of the solder resist pattern on the panels. Finally the panels are 'baked' in an oven at about 150 degrees for around 50 minutes.Visit the One Way Holdings Ltd website for more information on PCB Curtain Coater
