PCB Etcher

Before the Etching Process can begin we must remove the Dry Film Laminate from the panels.

This process is called 'Film Strip'. After the Film Strip, the panels pass through the Etcher, which removes the exposed copper from the panels using a chemical called ammoniacal solution.

After this process the panels are left with only the copper track - and this is where they actually begin to look like PCBs. The Panels are passed to Inspection for a visual check by one of our qualified inspectors.
