Temporary Pedestrian Traffic Signals
Temporally installed pedestrian signals have historically been provided by permanent signal equipment suppliers, as part of an existing system. However, the changes in the Highway Agency’s technical requirements allowed manufacturers to design standalone temporary pedestrian systems which have a variety of uses both on and off the public highway. The XLPed is a standalone pedestrian system which is configurable for a wide variety of applications for the public highways. Pike have also provided a range of portable pedestrian crossing systems for private roads where customers have a need for a safe crossing area operating independently or part of a signal controlled vehicle system.Visit the Pike Signals Ltd. website for more information on Temporary Pedestrian Traffic Signals
