Amorphous and Nanocrystalline materials are manufactured using the rapid solidification process. As with Crystalline alloys, the properties of Amorphous materials are determined primarily by their composition and heat treatment. Nanocrystalline materials start out as Amorphous alloys. In order to produce the Nanocrystalline two-phase structure, the Amorphous circular tape cores are tempered. Both of these alloys can be perfectly customized for individual applications.
