Iron, Chromium, Cobalt, Nickel and Molybdenum Magnetic Materials
SEMIVAC & SENSORVACSEMIVAC® is an alloy composed of Iron, Chromium, Cobalt, Nickel and Molybdenum. It is only manufactured in the form of a tape. Its magnetic properties are established by a combination of high cold deformation and intermediate annealing as well as by a final annealing treatment.
SEMIVAC is used in Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, typically as a film in thicknesses of < 50 µm. At these dimensions, the material can be cut and punched in an annealed state.
Typical Applications:
* Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems
Advantages:
* Specially developed alloys to deactivate merchandise security labels
* Individual matching to customer requirements thanks to large variation possibilities in the coercitivity field strength
SENSORVAC® is a Cobalt-free alloy composed of Iron and Nickel. It is manufactured in the form of tape. The magnetic properties are established by a combination of high cold deformation and intermediate annealing as well as by a final annealing treatment.
SENSORVAC is used in Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, preferably as a film in thicknesses of < 50 µm. At these dimensions, the material can be cut and punched in an annealed state.
Typical Applications:
* Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems
Advantages:
* Specially developed alloys to deactivate merchandise security labels
* Magnetic values that can be set stably, with minimum tolerances
* High rectangularity
* High remanence
* Low-cost because cobalt-free
