From a sudden flash-bang in a printed circuit to a full bodied burnt out department store, we've dealt with them all. Insurance companies tell us that a staggering 90% of vehicle fires are started on purpose to claim the insurance. We often investigate these.

This is where a forensic scientist's attention to detail really counts. We've dealt with:

Spurious problems in computer systems - often caused by the wrong power supply unit being connected.
Mobile homes and motorised caravans - often poor wiring mods.

Cars, lorries and boats - often fuel spills or dodgy wiring
Commercial property fires - for the defence or the prosecution.

One famous case was a burnt out mobile home three years after the event. Our client was charged with deception (putting an inferior home in its place and setting fire to it to claim the insurance).

All we had to go on were four pictures taken at the time, but we still got him off the charge, because the evidence could be challenged.
