Pacer Appointed by Crystal IS as Europe Distribution Partner for Optan High Performance UVC LEDs March 2015: Pacer International has been chosen as distribution partner for Europe by innovative U.S.-based manufacturer Crystal IS. Crystal IS, an Asahi Kasei company, offers proprietary, high-performance UVC LEDs. Pacer will offer Optan UVC LEDs to customers looking for state-of-the-art light sources for many different instrumentation applications including: • HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) for purification of proteins and pharmaceutical manufacturing • Real-time monitoring applications for water quality in drinking water and industrial wastewater • Ozone monitoring for detection of harmful pollutants The Optan LEDs are currently available in peak wavelengths from 250nm to 280nm and power bins from 0.5 mW to 2 mW, ideal for spectroscopic applications because of their high spectral quality and reliability.
