Solid State Supplies (part of Solid State plc) is a technical, franchised distributor serving the UK electronics community. Focusing on products from a limited number of suppliers, we understand our products in depth and offer customers outstanding levels of commercial and technical support.

Solid State Supplies sells semiconductors, related components and modules for embedded processing, control and communications (both wireless and wired), power management, and LED lighting, with particular expertise in end-to-end IoT solutions using modules, finished products and cloud connectivity, and in high-reliability components for Mil/Aero applications.

Solid State Supplies and sister company Pacer Components Ltd become one company from 1st April 2021. Pacer is a specialist supplier of optoelectronic, display and laser solutions, offering a wide range of opto components, sensors, detectors, laser components and systems, information displays, optics and acousto optics and cameras.

As well as sourcing standard components, Pacer offers custom displays and assemblies, and full design and build services for a complete outsourced solution.

At our dedicated Design and Build Centre in Weymouth, you have access to the extensive optoelectronics and display technology experience and expertise of our design team. Our broad component knowledge and well established relationships with leading suppliers are the results of Pacer’s history as the leading specialist optoelectronic and display distributor in the UK. We build on this know-how to solve electronic design challenges using the emission, sensing, detection or processing of light. We have in-house electronic, optical and mechanical design expertise, and can advise on technical as well as commercial aspects of a new project.
