SSE’s new ISO 9001:2008 Certificate

01-01-2011

Static Safe Environments was originally awarded BS EN ISO 9001:2000 on 5 November 2005.

ISO 9001 is the well established and recognised standard for the quality management of businesses; it has become the global benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction.

Small changes to ISO 9001 were published in November 2008 and under ISO’s formal review process, which ensures standards are kept up to date, these amendments were required to be initiated within two years of publication.

The 2008 changes to ISO 9001 are not major but will bring the following benefits:

simple to use
clear in language
readily translatable and easily understandable
compatibility with other management systems such as ISO 14001.
SSE’s new ISO 9001:2008 certificate is proudly displayed in our offices; should you require a copy (which can either be emailed or posted to you) please contact Debbie Austin in our Sales Department who will be pleased to help.
