The OSD Click Board? is an add-on display board intended to add a monochrome on-screen display (OSD) generator to the user design. The board employs a combination of a MAX7456 single-channel monochrome OSD generator module, integrated EEPROM memory as well as two RCA sockets. It is preloaded with 256 user-programmable characters or pictographs in NTSC and PAL standards. MAX7456 module is ideally suited for creating on-screen menus or place the company logo in the streaming video. It has a 12x18 pixel character size and can easily display information in up to 16 lines of 30 characters each.
