The WiFi 3 Click Board� from MikroE is a powerful communication add-on board with the ES8266 module that provides the easiest way to connect your devices to the internet. This WiFi module makes an ideal addition to a Click Board� collection if the user wants to venture into IoT. WiFi3 Click Board� features a combination of ESP8266 module with a system-on-chip.

The module further includes an integrated TCP/IP stack and supports WiFi Direct (p2p). The System on Chip (SoC) offers powerful on-board processing and storage capabilities for a WiFi module and offloads all networking functions from the microcontroller. Other than the standard MikroBUS socket, WiFi3 Click Board� includes 6 additional GPIO pins for a user to connect and control external electronics. It also features a PCB trace antenna that works for the 2400-2483.5 MHz frequency band. WiFi 3 Click Board� is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only.
