The Industrial Grade 40-pin Vertical IDE Flash Module provides a high level interface with the host computer. This Industrial Grade 40-pin Vertical IDE Flash Module interface allows a host computer to issue commands to the Flash Disk to read or write blocks of memory. The host addresses the card in 512 byte sectors. Each sector on the Industrial Grade 40-pin Vertical IDE Flash Module is protected by a powerful 4 bits Error Correcting Code (ECC). Industrial Grade 40-pin Vertical IDE Flash Modules intelligent controllers manages data storage, interface protocols and retrieval as well as defect handling, ECC, and diagnostics, clock control and power management.
