SoftStyle moulded enclosure from Vero Technologies

The new SoftStyle moulded enclosure from Vero Technologies brings a contemporary look to the product it houses, equally appropriate for a consumer-facing application or professional equipment. SoftStyle is moulded from a flame retardant UL94-V0 polycarbonate, which offers better UV stability than ABS or other materials, and also allows translucent mouldings. The top features a clear frosted finish, so internal indicators are easily visible. The top and base mouldings have a rounded design, creating an elegant contemporary appearance, ideal for housing today’s electronics. Two slots for 3mm removable anodised aluminium panels are provided at the front; one is as far forward as possible to give maximum internal space, or alternatively the panel can be set back by 10mm to recess protruding switches if required. The rear panel position is fixed. An IP sealed version of the new SoftStyle is currently in design. The combination of UV stability and IP sealing will allow the enclosure to be used in direct sunlight and for housing electronics installed in outside locations.
