VHSF Dry Heat Sterilisers
By using HEPA filters in the fresh air, exhaust air and circulating air the flow requirements of cleanroom class 100 will be met in the sterilising chamber (according to US-Federal-Standard). Vötsch Industrietechnik was one of the first companies on the market whose hot air sterilisers maintain the U.S. Federal Standard for class 100 (according to ISO 14644-1, class 5) during an entire cycle. The filters enable a safe sterilisation process under cleanroom conditions. The cleanroom hot air sterilisers VHSF 75/100, 100/150 and 125/200 and the wire-mesh shelves or trays are made of stainless steel and designed according to GMP-/FDA-guidelines. An efficient loading system enables the use of charging- and ancillary trolleys. The optional push-through-design with doors at the front and the rear enables installation in the wall. Separating the sterile and nonsteril areas.
Working chamber volume 560 – 3135 liters
Nominal temperature 230 °C (300 °C)
Air flow horizontal
Cleanroom class: 100 (US-Federal-Standard)
The VHSF steriliser series fulfil the requirements of the clean air Class ISO 5 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 (US Federal Standard Class 100)
With the VHSF series, the requirements of clean air Class ISO 5 are fulfilled by the circulating air filters which are installed in the sterilization chamber. The high efficiency particulate filter is positioned immediately in front of the air inlet into the sterilization chamber and is an absolute filter (HEPA).
All significant differential pressures and flow volumes are monitored. The filters reliably ensure sterilization at temperatures up to 230 °C (300 °C), this being maintained during the whole sterilisation cycle, i. e., not only during sterilisation but also during the heating and cooling phase.
The laminar flow technology ensures a laminar flow condition, with a particularly homogenous temperature distribution. Due to this, glass products such as ampoules, injection and infusion bottles or other thermostable materials, can be sterilised at temperatures up to 350 °C.
The high temperature is particularly useful in achieving a rapid and reliable dehydrogenation.
The dry heat sterilisers VHSF 1-4 are available in four sizes.
Unique two chamber steriliser VHSF-K
For time- and energy-saving cooling processes, the dry heat sterilizer can be combined with an additional cooling chamber (optional). In this case and following the successful sterilisation, the charging trolley is automatically transported from the sterilisation chamber into the cooling chamber. The advantage: The sterilization chamber retains its sterilising temperature and whilst the sterilized products are cooling down in the cooling chamber, the sterilizing chamber can be recharged. The unique two-chamber system facilitates a particularly economic sterilisation process and high throughput.
Depyrogenisation (Pyrogen sterilisation)
The hot air sterilisers VHSF 1, 2, 3 and 4 provide a quick and safe depyrogenisation at temperatures up to 350 °C. The specially designed laminar-flow provides for a homogeneous temperature distribution. Glass products, such as ampullae, vials, syringes- and infusion bottles can be loading into the heated steril chamber without danger to the product.
The optional push-through-design with doors at the front and the rear enables installation in the wall. Separating the sterile and nonsteril areas.
