LIBRA INDUSTRIES’ CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS TOTAL MORE THAN $600K IN CAPEX IN FISCAL YEAR 2016

Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, today announced that it spent more than $636,000 on continuous improvements in 2016. The investments are part of the company’s ongoing quality efforts and included new equipment purchases, IT server upgrades and more. “Libra Industries’ investment in continuous improvement capital shows our dedication to improving our quality and enhancing our customers’ experience with us,” stated David Henison, CFO. More than $205k was invested in the Dallas facility, including two new Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) systems, an X-ray tube, IT servers and more. Libra Industries’ expenditures at the Mentor facility totaled $422k. This covered two new SPI systems, IT servers, an X-ray component counter, a reflow oven, HVAC, and more. The company also spent $10k on the Focus Manufacturing operation.
