Aqueous PCB Cleaning
To avoid the disadvantages of resin soldering systems, we have a Soltec Prisma micro-processor-controlled, fully-aqueous Flow Soldering Plant. This is equipped with dual waves: the first, a vibrating jet, is specifically to process surface mount components which have been glued in place, and the second is a traditional solid wave used for conventional through-hole components. Complementing this machine is our Electrovert Aquastorm 100 dual turbine, conveyorised, in-line, de-ionised, washer/drier system, which cleans and dries the boards to the ultimate standard for this type of machine: The results of our monthly ionograph analysis regularly show levels of surface contamination well below those stipulated in MoD standards. In order to accommodate the differing specifications of customers, we also have a Soltec 6622 low-solids, no-clean resin, conveyorised soldering machine with foam fluxer and dual wave facility, allowing us to solder mixed technology boards in a similar fashion to that of the aqueous plant.Visit the Wilson Process Systems Ltd website for more information on Aqueous PCB Cleaning
