Since Circuitmaster introduced the first crimp force monitor (CFM) system to the market in 1992, the implementation of force analysis in the production of wire harnesses has become commonplace. At the heart of the system is the CFM unit. This has been developed and continuously improved for over 20 years by Circuitmaster. Our products are found around the world in most manufacturing plants. Circuitmaster have now completed the next generation of its successful CFM range, the G3. Why did we call it the G3? As this is the 3rd generation of crimp force monitor the boffins at Circuitmaster referred to it as the G3 around the building. When the new range reached the marketing department, we thought long and hard about a suitable name and being a creative bunch came up with….. the G3… inspired! The boffins being far more intelligent have included many ground breaking features to meet the increasing quality control demands of the modern production factory. Our new website will provide an insight into these new features which we believe will revolutionise the wire harness industry. The G3 CFM gives a very stable and reliable crimp force monitoring system that can be used on most production presses. The G3+ delivers powerful management information with its data collection, whilst remaining easy to use and understand. Our G3+ RFID solution is a platform for a production control system with automatic tooling and material recognition. To enhance these core products we have a range of quality inspection equipment including micrometers, pull testers and our calibration jig which enables users to calibrate the press and crimp force monitor. With these products, setup of each applicator is more accurate prior to production. The CFA then checks the process remains stable throughout production.
