Data Physics Names New German Sales Manager and Turbomachinery Product Manager

Data Physics is proud to announce the addition of Andreas Zappe as the Sales Manager for the Western German sales region and Rob Bloomquist as Product Manager for Turbomachinery diagnostic products. Andreas Zappe is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in vibration applications. He started at Tira in 1982 and after a long career moved to LDS in 2007. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate of the University of Wismar in Germany. Andreas is already very familiar with Data Physics vibration controllers and signal analyzers due to the past close association between Tira and Data Physics. Andreas provides a strong boost to Data Physics’ presence in Germany, building on the successes established by Ludwig Liedl, notably at BMW. Rob Bloomquist brings extensive experience in vibration analysis, troubleshooting, alignment, and balancing of large turbomachinery. Rob comes to Data Physics with more than 25 years of experience providing condition monitoring, maintenance, and reliability consulting services to power and process industries. During Rob’s 16 years with Bently Nevada, he served as Machinery Diagnostics Team Leader, Machinery Diagnostics Engineer, and Training Engineer. He developed the original training course for the Bently Nevada ADRE 208 system. Rob provides direct knowledge and experience in the turbomachinery industry and will be helpful in establishing Data Physics as the premier supplier of turbomachinery diagnostic and analysis systems.
