INTRODUCING SIGNALCALC TURBO - ROTOR DYNAMICS ANALYZER

03-07-2014

SignalCalc Turbo is a new portable data acquisition and analysis system for rotating machines with a special emphasis on machines with journal bearings. Packed with powerful measurement functions, it is ready to tackle every rotating machinery diagnostic problem encountered in the power generation, oil and gas, energy and industrial sectors. Building on the successful platform of SignalCalc Dynamic Signal Analyzers, Turbo adds a dedicated solution for solving rotating machinery problems. SignalCalc Dynamic Signal Analyzers already offer order domain measurements and multiplane balancing. Existing users include Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Flowserve, Air Products and Chemicals, Southern Nuclear, Weatherford, Grayson Armature Works, Robinson Industries, Weir Pumps, NASA Ames Research Center, Sverdrup Technology and Boeing Commercial Airplane Group. SignalCalc Turbo runs on the acclaimed Abacus and Quattro hardware platforms with extraordinary signal processing power and unmatched dynamic range. All measurements are made with at least 120 dB and most times up to 150 dB dynamic range. Along with realtime measurements, SignalCalc Turbo offers gapfree recording on all channels simultaneously, a SignalCalc hallmark. SignalCalc Turbo on Quattro can be configured with 2 to 4 input channels with a single tachometer channel. SignalCalc Turbo on Abacus can be configured with 8 to 32 input channels and 8 tachometer channels in a single portable chassis weighing less than 20 lbs! It can be extended to unlimited channels by networking multiple Abacus chassis. Designed with the needs of the most discerning analysts in the industry in mind, the powerful measurement suite handles simultaneous asynchronous and synchronous sampling and provides both vector and waveform samples while also recording raw data to disk for optional post processing. Comprehensive measurements paired with effective display and analysis tools make SignalCalc Turbo the new powerful solution for machinery diagnostics.
