ECL supplying to Pakistan

European Circuits Ltd recently played host to two Engineers from Pakistan. Khalid Habib and Azher Ali Khan visited the electronics manufacturing plant in Clydebank from 3rd to 7th June. Khalid and Azher were on site to carry out acceptance testing on 6 different PCB products that were being supplied by ECL. Our customer who employs around 200 people in Islamabad produces data verification and telecoms products for the banking industry in Pakistan. ECL's own engineers will continue to perform testing before shipping product to Pakistan. This is the first major order ECL has received from the Middle East region and if successful it's anticipated that not only will there be more demand for these same products, but other products are likely to come on stream. Sales Director Jim Broom commented, "This is an important piece of new business from an untapped market.
