GN Systems are pleased to be sponsoring Brooksbottom Cricket Club (Brox) for a fourth consecutive year!

Brox currently play their cricket within the Greater Manchester Cricket League and are founding members of the league, having previously played in the Ribblesdale League and Manchester & District Cricket Association.

The club has been in situ at its current location off Rowlands Road, within the village of Summerseat, since the 1930s. Although a small village club, Brox continues to punch above its weight going up against the biggest clubs in the Greater Manchester area, GN Systems can certainly draw parallels, operating in such a competitive industry.

The club reacted to the renewed sponsorship earlier in the month, “Brox are pleased to have an ongoing partnership with GN Systems, who have supported us with sponsorship for a number of years. GN Systems feature as our front of shirt sponsor and provide highly valued support to keep the successful running of the club. We hope the partnership can continue for many more years to come. Off the field, the Brox host a number of community events and like to operate as a central hub for the local community to meet and socialise. Well supported events include bonfire night and the annual Boxing Day cricket match to name a few. The Brox current 1st XI play in the Premier Division 2 and also have 2nd and 3rd XI teams. Games are played every Saturday and Sunday during the cricket season between April and September. The club also have a number of junior teams and many of the players in the senior teams have made their way through from junior cricket. Regular junior training takes place every Friday night with a number of qualified coaches helping out”
