Mydata TP9

We have recently invested into a new Surface Mount Technology machine, the Mydata TP9. The TP9 is capable of picking up 8 components, down to 0402, and placing onto a PCB at high speed. One of the features of the Mydata TP9 is its intelligent magazines. The TP9 will recognise where the magazine has been placed and where the components are in the magazine, so the components can’t be placed on the wrong pads. The Mydata will help make our Surface Mount Technology department run more efficiently, meaning we can take on larger jobs with a faster turn around time. We have kept two of our Versatronics “Pick and Place” machines, for small production runs, and prototype PCBs.
