The Hell Bay Hotel

The Hell Bay Hotel is a luxury hotel located on the beautiful Island of Bryher, Isles of Scilly. The Sunday Times Travel Magazine declared Hell Bay Hotel to be one of the top 100 hotels in the world, one of only 12 hotels in the UK and Ireland to be given this prestigious honor. Gould Electronics was asked to provide a WiFi solution that covered the whole site including all guest rooms, the bar and restaurant and also outside patio areas. The hotels accommodation is spread across a large site. Gould Electronics provided a solution that linked the buildings together creating a wireless multipoint network and then fitted multiple access points to create one unified wireless network for guest access. The system is totally managed by a software package that can display network statistics, show alerts and events and allow automatic firmware upgrading.
