GSPK Circuits takes to the Skies

04-06-2012

One brave GSPK team member, Paul Cottam, took to the skies recently and completed a long-promised parachute jump in the aid of Atexia Telangiectasia (A-T).

Many bets were taken internally that this event would never happen but an audience and photographic evidence proved otherwise and Paul reached Terra Firma safe and sound, to rousing cheers and a few relieved family members! Calling it ‘the experience of a lifetime…’ Paul thoroughly enjoyed himself, raising nearly £800 in the process.

A-T is a degenerative, genetic condition with no current treatment and no cure. Children are born with the disease which is unknowingly passed down to them by their parents. Young, alert, active children become increasing incapacitated, loosing the ability to walk and speak clearly. They are at increased risk of developing cancer and suffer from repeated respiratory diseases. For more information please visit their website on atsociety.org.uk
