Using Gooseneck Antennas - Bodyworn Radio Systems

27-08-2024

L-com have one of the largest selections of dual-band gooseneck antennas available. But how do you use them?

Gooseneck Antennas are omni-directional antennas that have a flexible base section below the radiating component of the antenna. This type of antenna gives users the ability to twist and re-position the antenna to optimize link gain or to reduce interference on multi-antenna radio systems.

These antennas are ideal for Manpack, bodyworn Radio Systems or even hand-held ones. The cylindrical radome provides the antenna with extra strength. They are also ideal for use in wireless broadcast cameras for live news coverage, unmanned vehicles, and surveillance systems.
