Ixthus Instrumentation was founded by Malcolm Read in the late 90's, at this time, the company specialised in non-contact position sensors with other sensor technologies being added.

Upon Malcolm's retirement in October 2003 the company was acquired by Variohm, to broaden its presence in the position transducer market.

Whilst part of Variohm, Ixthus Instrumentation continued to grow and develop with the addition of Force and Torque Transducers initially, and then followed by Intelligent Weigh Controllers and Vibration Monitoring. Our product range has more recently been extended to include Temperature Sensors and Strain Gauges.

Ixthus Instrumentation is now part of Variohm Holdings and is known as the Test and Measurement Division. We have an experienced team to help you find the correct part for your requirements.
