 CAN232 is a Serial Port to CAN adapter dongle that plugs into any PC COM Port, or RS232 port in an embedded system, and provides an instant CAN gateway. This means it can be treated by software as a standard COM Port which removes the requirement for any extra drivers. Data send and receive can be done in standard ASCII format.
