Luminaire testing

With very recent changes in technology, such as the ever increasing use of LEDs in luminaires, EMC has become an increasingly significant issue for the lighting industry. Laplace has introduced a test system, the ALECS (Automated Luminaire Emissions Compliance System). This includes all the necessary elements to perform EMC emissions tests in-house. It has been specifically designed for use by manufacturers who have so far had minimal experience of EMC testing, so the system is easy to set up and measurements are straightforward.
