Established in 1938, Mascot was one of the radio
manufacturing pioneers in Norway. From the beginning, we have focused on meeting our customers demands, continuing to find ways to improve the
quality of our products as well as developing innovative solutions for our customers.

Mascot was the first Norwegian manufacturer to introduce car radios in Norway, this was in 1953, . During the 1950s, Mascot radios became very popular because of their superior reception, both in Norway as well as in mountainous regions across Europe and the Near and Middle East.

During the early 1960s, Mascot even established a manufacturing joint venture in Turkey in order to meet the demand within this region.
