Handheld Analyser Firmware Upgrades

Our handheld serial data analysers have the ability to be upgraded with new operational features after they have been sold. This is achieved by means of “firmware upgrades”, released by New Forest Electronics every few months. Wherever possible, the latest features added to the analyser are made available for earlier models. For instance, timestamping can be added to any model handheld analyser, including the original SDA-01. Sometimes particular features cannot be added, because the earlier models do not have enough program memory or appropriate circuitry.
