OKW has expanded the accessory range for its SOFT-CASE wide-format handheld enclosures, introducing intermediate rings that provide additional internal space for components. Other available accessories include tilt foot bars, battery clips, eyelets for rings and straps, and versatile belt/wall Combi-Clips.

Designed for handheld, desktop, or wall-mounted devices – whether wireless or cable-connected – SOFT-CASE is a versatile solution for applications such as measurement, digital control, medical and laboratory equipment, peripherals, communications, IoT/IIoT, energy management, and environmental technology.

The enclosures feature soft, ergonomic contours for comfortable handling and a wide-format design with a generous recessed area, making them ideal for larger displays and multiple interfaces. The raised panel on the wide edge provides extra room for connections.

SOFT-CASE can be specified with or without a battery compartment (2 x AAA, 2/4 x AA, or 1 x 9V). The battery lid simply clips into place but can also be screw-fixed for added security. Models without a battery compartment can be upgraded with optional IP 54 protection.

Four enclosure sizes are available, ranging from 82 x 51 x 14 mm up to 150 x 92 x 28 mm. Standard materials include ABS (UL 94 HB) in off-white (RAL 9002) or lava, or black infrared-transparent PMMA (UL 94 HB).

The new intermediate rings extend the enclosure depth, with sizes from 54 x 85 x 12 mm to 96 x 154 x 26 mm. They are moulded in ABS, SEBS (TPE), or PMMA, and supplied in colour options such as off-white, lava, volcano, black, and matt chromed.

OKW also offers a full customisation service, including machining, lacquering, printing, laser marking, decor foils, EMC shielding, and installation/assembly of accessories.
