OKW’s MINI-DATA-BOX sensor enclosures are now offered in 40 standard configurations, significantly reducing the need for bespoke customisation.

These versatile, quick-to-install enclosures are ideal for a wide range of applications, including IoT/IIoT, smart logistics, peripherals, interfaces, automation, environmental technology, measurement and control, security and monitoring systems, and ICT. Their compact form and ergonomic design also make them a popular choice for wearable electronics.

The MINI-DATA-BOX is available in two shapes: S (square) and E (rectangular or ‘edge’). Each can be specified with or without flanges, allowing for screw or cable tie mounting to walls, ceilings, rails, or masts. With curved corners and a distinctive 'diamond cut' bevel on the lid, the design is both modern and practical, with flat surfaces ideal for user interfaces.

Built to endure tough environments, these enclosures feature a robust design, a continuous tongue and groove seal, and optional IP 65 sealing kits. Manufactured from UV-resistant ASA+PC (UL 94 V-0), they are well suited for outdoor and industrial use. Assembly is secured with tamper-resistant stainless steel Torx screws. Internally, supports are provided for mounting PCBs or other components in both the top and base, and the units can also be potted for added protection of electronic assemblies.

MINI-DATA-BOX is available in four plan sizes ranging from 40 x 40 mm to 70 x 50 mm and in two heights: 15 mm and 20 mm. Standard colour options include traffic white (RAL 9016) and anthracite grey (RAL 7016). Flanged models can also be supplied with a traffic white top and a traffic grey A (RAL 7042) base.
