Nb3Sn Distributed Barrier Superconducting Wire

The very best high field performance attainable in Nb3Sn is provided by our RRP® wire. This performance has enabled two world-record setting magnets in recent years: A 16 T accelerator dipole magnet A persistent 22.3 T (950 MHz) NMR magnet. Our wire is available in long lengths with a diameter up to 2.0 mm and a range of non-copper fractions up to 60%. Where needed, glass braiding is available as an insulation option. A Cr coating can be applied as required for cable applications.
