PDI’s laboratory is a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) certified test laboratory for many electrical and mechanical characteristics and is equipped to test electronic components and subsystems. Precision Devices has a long history of providing Qualified Product List (QPL) Crystals (MIL-PRF-3098) and Oscillators (MIL-PRF-55310) for a broad range of military and aerospace programs. A prerequisite of becoming a QPL supplier is to have the ability to perform the qualification and production lot testing. In addition to ISO-9001:2008 quality systems and ISO-14001:2004 environmental certifications, the facility’s quality system is certified to MIL-STD-790. “Over the years, we have continued to expand our equipment and capabilities to support the ever-expanding test requirements for military, aerospace, and harsh environment applications,” according to Chris Harden, Vice President of Operations. “In addition to the ability to test the QPL products, we are the first crystal product company with certification to the MIL-PRF-38534 specification for hybrids. We felt these test capabilities should be made available to other companies in industry who may not have these broad capabilities available to them in their own facilities.” For more information on test capabilities or the online quote request form, please visit www.pdixtal.com/services .
