Process Development Engineer (KTP Associate) Engineering & Applied Science Location: Qualitetch Components Ltd, March, PE15 8QW Salary: £30,000 to £32,000per annum depending on your experience Contract Type: Fixed Term (24 months) Basis: Full Time Closing Date: 23.59 hours BST on Monday 20 May 2019 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: R190155 This role is an exciting opportunity for a MEng or PhD qualified graduate in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering to take on a strategic project with the support of mentors from Qualitetch, Aston University and Innovate UK. The project will develop novel membrane filtration technologies for corrosive etching solutions used for precision component manufacture. Candidate Profile: You will have a MEng/ PhD in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering, with: •Knowledge/ experience of the design, build and running of test membrane filtration modules and rigs •Experience of processes such as water treatment/ membrane filtration •Experience of safe handling of harsh chemicals •Practical experience of techniques such as dynamic laser scattering; SEM; TEM and offline ultra filtration •Anti-corrosion and anti-fouling performance •Practical experience of wet chemical lab work •Enthusiasm and maturity to take ownership of all aspects of the project •Excellent communication skills This project is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funded by Qualitetch Components Ltd and Innovate UK.
